Browser Fingerprint Test

Inspect browser and device signals that can contribute to a browser fingerprint. Optional advanced probes run locally only after you start them.

Browser and device report

Values come from browser APIs and can vary by browser, settings, and device.

Enable JavaScript to read browser-provided values.

The report and probe results are not sent or saved by this tool. Reload the page to clear them.

Additional local fingerprint probes

Canvas, WebGL, offline audio, a limited font check, and extended User-Agent hints run only after you choose to start them.

Ready. Optional probes have not run.

What this tool does

Show browser-provided settings and device hints that websites may observe as part of a browser fingerprint.

Let you inspect additional canvas, WebGL, audio, font, and User-Agent signals with an explicit local action.

How to use the tool

  1. Review the browser, platform, display, language, and capability values in the report.
  2. Choose Run local probes to inspect optional fingerprint signals; unavailable APIs are reported as unavailable.
  3. Copy the current report if you want to compare it elsewhere, or reload the page to clear the displayed results.

Useful applications

  • See which browser and display details are exposed to a page.
  • Compare browser settings or devices without uploading the measured profile.
  • Inspect whether optional browser APIs expose canvas, graphics, audio, font, or User-Agent details.

Notes and limitations

  • Browser values can be reduced, changed, or hidden by privacy settings and browser updates; device and browser family hints are estimates.
  • The font check compares a fixed candidate list and cannot enumerate every installed font.
  • Canvas and offline audio signatures are small local comparisons, not cryptographic identifiers or uniqueness scores.
  • This tool does not query or display an IP address, location, or ISP; those details require separate network-side information.
  • The tool does not send or save the displayed report or probe results. Reloading the page clears the in-page results.

Frequently asked questions

Does this tool upload my fingerprint?

No. The page reads values locally and the tool does not send or save the report or probe results.

Does the report identify my exact device?

No. Browser values can be reduced or changed, and the displayed device and platform hints are best-effort estimates.

Why are some values unavailable?

Browsers may omit an API, limit the detail it returns, or block a probe as part of privacy protections.

Can the tool show my IP address, location, or ISP?

No. This local report does not perform an IP or location lookup; location and ISP details require a separate network service.

Is the canvas or audio signature a unique identifier?

No. Each is a short local test value and is not a measured uniqueness score or permanent identifier.
