What this tool does

The clock displays the current instant using the device clock and formats it for the selected timezone.

It can show the date, seconds, UTC offset and a large fullscreen view without sending data.

How to use the tool

  1. Choose the device timezone or another timezone from the list.
  2. Select automatic, 24-hour or 12-hour time formatting.
  3. Show or hide seconds and the date as needed.
  4. Open fullscreen for a simplified large clock display.

Useful applications

  • Keeping a readable clock on a desk, presentation screen or second monitor.
  • Checking the current local time and UTC offset in another timezone.
  • Comparing 12-hour and 24-hour representations.
  • Using a distraction-reduced fullscreen clock during events or sessions.

Notes and limitations

  • The time comes from the device clock; the tool does not synchronize with an external time server.
  • Timezone names, offsets and daylight-saving rules come from the browser and operating system.
  • Changing the selected timezone changes only the display and does not modify the device clock.
  • Preferences are stored locally when browser storage is available.

Frequently asked questions

Is this an atomic or network-synchronized clock?

No. It displays the device clock and does not verify it against an external time source.

Does selecting a timezone change my system time?

No. It changes only how the same current instant is displayed.

Why can the UTC offset change during the year?

Many timezones apply daylight-saving or other legal offset changes.

Why is a timezone missing?

The available list depends on the timezone data supported by the browser. A compact fallback list is used on older browsers.

Is my time or timezone uploaded?

No. Formatting and preferences are handled locally in the browser.
